Daylight Savings Time. Slowly I turned. I looked hellward and shook my fist at Benjamin Franklin’s ghost. Then my bifocals made me trip on a Saturday Evening Post and I fell against the wood-burning stove.
Hello, all. Just wanted to poke my head in to let you know that Book 7 is now available for pre-order. http://www.newadventuresofqueenvictoria.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=11
Well, I’m in Maine, so in the summer it is light here at 4am. Daylight savings time just thrusts rush hour into complete darkness in one day instead of over the course of a month.
I’m glad to be here in AZ where we ignore time changes and keep hoping the rest of the world will go along. I LOVE our weather – practically nothing beats having sunshine over 300 days a year and flowers blooming just as much. When my lover decides to live here too, it will be perfect. For now, I will go to him at least twice a year and there is always Skype and we both have cameras better than the built-ins ;-)

daylight savings time is useless. invented by a guy who wanted an extra hour of sunlight to catch bugs. doesn’t save energy.

Yes, I do know he didn’t really start the Post, but thanks anyway.

Sigh! I do wonder why people without a sense of humor read the comics.
