    Think it has more to do with running the course and staying on track if you can not see the markers.

    I could use a jacket like that.

    Since I’m a jacket collector, that would be a beauty. At least it would tell me if I’m sober enough to drive.

    legally blind someone may still be able to make out shapes and color.

    Someone once had the idea for a coin operated breathanalyzer machine for bars, to avoid driving after drinking too much, but humans, being what they are, used it to see who could register the highest and still stand up.

    Nobody ever gives credit to the “Seeing” runner who runs the same marathon with his/her hand on the elbow of the blind runner to guide him or her. Still, it’s a pretty darn good accomplishment.
