Big Nate by Lincoln Peirce for November 15, 2012
Transcript:
Mr. Corey is the best sub we've ever had! He's cool! He's a cartoonist! I was looking at some of his drawings! They're, like, totally pro! Finally we've got a teacher who actually know what he's doing! He just defined an isosceles triangle as a zone in the ocean where ships and planes disappear. Exactly! That's knowledge we can use!

Dear Mr Peirce,is it copying a book if you and your best friend write a book, and put each other’s character in it? Because me and my best friend are writing a book with superheroes and we’re putting each other’s in for a cameo appearance. Is it copying? And will it not get published if so?

As the Scarecrow said “The sum of the square roots of any two sides of an isosceles triangle is equal to the square root of the remaining side.”
