We had a dog that was an inside/outside dog. When he was in, he wanted out, when he was out, he wanted in!

    - Psh… cats don’t need to show dominance over their owners like that! They show it every day in their indifference and hatred towards the people that feed and house them! ;-)- If you don’t think your cat thinks they are better than you, you must not have had your cat very long.Umm… You think that when you yell “You think you’re better than me, cat?” and your cat walks away makes you the winner of the argument.

My dog figured out that if she scratched at the door, I’d get up to let her out. Well, actually she just figured out the I’d get up part, she didn’t make the connection to the whole action. So now she scratches at the door and then we play the “What do you want?” game.
