I just saw on the news last night where a painting that looks like a section of my garage wall where I was trying out paint samples sold for over $7M. Proof that PT Barnum was correct.
But a grade school student didn’t paint it. Mark Rothko did. Art collectors don’t care what it looks like, just who it’s by. Having been an art student, I know just how much BS is talked about “art”. As far as I’m concerned, now – all creativity is self indulgence.

As Red-Green famously said, “If I can do it, it ain’t art!”
