I am pretty sure (or at least very hopeful) the cat said, “Screw You” and left. And the next panel should be the guy lying flat on his back. Shame picking on an animal (or anybody for that matter).
I’m fairly sure the cat won the fight by the simple expedient of not being there when it got physical. The title of this strip could easily be “Cat: Supremely Unimpressed”.

The second half of the comic is missing- go to tmcm to see it. Makes more sense that way and is much funnier.
