    The buses are great, easy to use and allow you to see what you’re passing in case you want to get off. Probably cheaper than taxis, too, depending on how many of each you take. The great thing about the buses (and the French Metro), is that you don’t have to understand the language to get to your destination. A good map and the ability to read are enough.

    we just walked. Everywhere. We did get a bus when we needed to get way out of town and a shuttle from the airport to our hotel near the coliseum.. but in general, walking was completely fine.
