It’s just a stage in their budding romance: they kid and tease each other (but need to be careful to keep it light enough and not go too far).

It occurs to me to wonder how many of us North Americans are the descendants of “long-distance things”…that were much harder to maintain.

A deep friendship in the building makes the strongest of all love relationships throughout life… unless you are forever a teenager. Wooh! I wouldn’t go back to those years for anything, much less stay that age.

I can’t remember of this kind of joking ends up with a long term relationship or eventually ends the relationship..I’m for a long term relationship.

Oh dear gods I hope you’re wrong. Luann and Quill sound just like my husband and me. It’s an amazing kind of relationship to be in.

I really enjoy the Nick and Nora like banter between Luann and Quill. The more confident Luann becomes the less annoying she is. Nice character developement.

Well everyone, I’ve been reading Luann since September, and boy let me tell you it was quite an experience :) A thank you to all readers who read along with me in the past :) Some of you have quite a jolly sense of humor! And of course a very big thank you to non other than Luann’s caregiver Greg Evans himself for letting people like me read his works from long, long ago :D And now there is only one thing left to say…….. Wait — so let me get this straight. How are Quill and Luann a couple if they were never a couple to begin with but they wanted to start and then he sings a song he wrote for another girl to Luann and now they’re all of a sudden together?

Wasn’t she supposed to have misunderstood they the song wasn’t intended for her? I’m sooooooo confused. I have read from when Quill left up until the most recent comic. Please email me an explanation.

I don’t understand how they are together after she mis-understands that the song was not for her, it was for another girl. And then Quill says that the long distance relationship isn’t working out — I’m confused. Explain this to me.
