It might not look like it at first, but this is real progress for Andy. He usually doesn’t do anything around the house…

Andy, Andy, Andy. Such a clever lad and now wasted on drink and falling into the drink. Tsk, tsk, what a waste.

Well, Andy had to take the time to measure the table leg he needed and then check out enough books totaling that thickness. I guess I’ll give him a point for that.

@Gweedo….(yesterday).Now why would I want to hurt the engineer of one of my favourite albums? Does “met” have a different meaning in the US?

Another England born entertainer who made it big in America:Bob Hope:.The fifth of seven sons, he was born Leslie Townes Hope in Eltham, England on May 29, 1903. His English father, William Henry Hope, was a stonemason — his Welsh mother, Avis Townes Hope, an aspiring concert singer. In 1907, Leslie’s father brought the family to Cleveland, Ohio. In 1920, by virtue of his father’s naturalization, ‘Bob’ — the name by which the world would later know him — and his brothers became US citizens. (Bob Jokes, “I left England at the age of four when I found out I couldn’t be king.”)
