Bob: I'm sure you have a philosophy of life, Joe. You just haven't put it into words yet. Joe: Yeah... I suppose. Joe: So do you have a philosophy to guide you in life, Bob? Bob: Sure do... "Live long and prosper." Joe: Umm... Really? Bob: Yep. Joe: Wow... "Star Trek" really had an effect on you, eh? Bob: No. Law school did.

I HATE Star Trek, I dunno why, but I ain’t joining Star Trek club, because here, that’s people who have big ears, big glasses, and pimples all over the faces (in other words: geeks)

Citizen GROG! and AshburnStadium: you won’t catch me watching a 19 hour documentary on Star Trek, I dunno why, but I never catch on with Star Trek. Whenever I look at the ears, some of em are pretty big ears.

Maybe, but I don’t feel comfortable around them, that’s why.

There’s Trekkers and then there’s Trekkies. Trekkers are people who are fans of the show. Trekkies are people who don’t realize it was just a show.

Your Aunt is giving you a partial quote from a MASH episode. Sidney Freeman, the Shrink, after a particularly difficult O.R. session, said; “Ladies and Gentlemen, take my advise, pull down your pants, and slide on the ice.”He said it again, in the final episode.

See, the smart ones get recognized for getting the highest grade on a MIXED testing, I get an A- to a B+, but the geeks wear polos 24/7. I just go with a simple shirt and jeans, except for Saturday and Sunday. Night-Gaunt49: nothing, but ever try hearing how fast the winds in Jupiter are? Plus, they do this thing called Geakness Quiz, and I get a D+ from them because they say an A- student is a D+ student.freeholder1: jerks are bad, try getting near a wild turkey with a leash on Thanksgiving Eve and Thanksgiving Day.

Richard S. Russel: The L phoneme in Japanese is written as – (at least in kana). Because it does not occur in Japanese, it was popular during WW-II to have passwords replete with the sound, like “leaping Lulu likes lollypops.”

Since I have never seen a lawyer living in subsidized housing or driving an old wreck of a car…it seems to follow that "prosper"is what they do best….as for living long….I have known one or two lawyers to live into thier upper 80’s….reason being ….God doesn’t need them and the devil has too many.So “logic” would dictatethat as a geek I end this with “Beam me up Scottie oh beam me up Scottie, there’s no intelligent life down here below.”(R.I.P Dr DeMento)
