    Alice is sporting her first beak bump in panel 3! I bet Madeline needs help getting into and out of that sweater, just as a Late Medieval knight in full plate armor needed help from his squire.

    Our senior’s group recently held an ‘ugly Christmas sweater’ contest. I really believe the winner had on a replica of Mom’s sweater. Oh, yes, I’m sure of it.

    Went to a community band concert yesterday. The director had a skimmer-type hat with a gold band and on the brim, Christmas-wrap bows, a dove (at least on my side), and in back, a little green Christmas stocking (the kind you hang on a mantel) and a little red one.
