She does have a point!

If she’d just stopped at, “George W.” she’d probably have gotten credit. It was putting, “Bush” in that messed things up.

Actually, Maria just wrote “W.” She wasn’t sure how to spell George.

And now to get back to the comic, this means that the first president was actually Jimmy Carter. Anyone care to debate me?

If we go by my personal experiences, the first person to discover America was me and my mom. We drove across the Peace Bridge and discovered Buffalo New York.

Sorry, but it was actually FDR. (Wow, I’m older than I thought. sigh)

Carter and Nixon, respectively.

I was born when Eisenhower was born, but Kennedy is the first I remember.

As a kid, I used to rank people according to the chronology of familiarity. I remember I had numbered a group of friends I met when we moved to a new place. I did same things with my father’s friends and colleagues, friends in my class, even characters in tv shows. So Maria doing a ranking based on her memory of the presidents is nothing weird to me.
