Danae: Oh, c'mon, Lucy... it's perfectly safe. Lucy: I don't know... Danae: See? There's nothing to be afraid of... Lucy: No-o-o-oo Eek! You've awakened the giant glopworm!! Danae: Wait... what? How can I take you seriously if you just keep making up scary stuff that doesn't exist? Lucy: Well, it works for the cable news. Worm: ?

It works for all cable news, now cross the bridge,Lucy.
Basqueian about 12 years ago
You guys think it’s funny, but a rabbit ran out from under a very similar bridge and almost got three riders killed just a week ago. Horses don’t like that stuff, they do imagine things like that. My horse managed to keep his head, but two other people got dumped.

It’s all a matter of perspective – or with cable news, camera angle and editing !

So true — Fox News is full of lies and purposely misleading information. But many people consume it because it tastes good to them.

I once had a pony do something similar. Since it was a real pony and I was riding it I was not amused. When I got off and got a good look at the preying mantis I had to admit it was a little scary though.

Ya gotta love the hypocritical critics of Fox News Channel. Most of them are getting their information from the likes of MSNBC and other bastions of balanced reporting. Seriously, your collective lunacy about Fox News is obviously a product of consuming too much Kool Aid from the likes of MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC and to some degree CNN. Did you ever wonder why Fox News consistently scores higher than any other news channel in prime time viewership? To be honest I don’t watch any of them much, reading is much more informative and I can check multiple sources for different points of view, something it seems a majority of you are not capable of doing.Gotta laugh . . .

Basueian: Try having a cougar cut loose with a scream less than ten yards away, you discover that Pegasus is NOT a myth, any old horse will do!
of course Wiley showing blown out of proportion, does apply to Benghazi, Iran, Hamas, and any other “threat” to those seeing domination for their views, like well, the U.S. and Israel always in concert against any perceived “threat” as an excuse for “preemptive” attacks on others..

Sometimes it feels good to reprimand miscreants. Sometimes I say the wrong thing. We all have our own opinions but we’re not alone.

Hmm . . . ad hominem attacks, typical.Provide references for your statements concerning Fox News being proven wrong, references other then Daily Kos that is. Also back that up with references to the other cable news stations and how often they are wrong and biased. If you truly believe they are any more or less biased then the other news outlets I mentioned above, you are a simple not dealing in facts. As to “Global Warming,” 16 years without any warming as predicted by the much touted computer models. Read that again, no warming, none, zilch, nada, nyet. 2012 US tornado count well below the norm, while 2012 was a busy hurricane year, it was not out of the norm and there have been 10 busier years in the past 30. Oh, and so much for consensus, 125 scientist in an open letter to the UN take on Ban Ki-Moon for his statements regarding stating, “We the undersigned, qualified in climate-related matters, wish to state that current scientific knowledge does not substantiate your assertions.” Do a google search for it and do a little more reading. As stated earlier as well, you really need to broaden your reading sources and stop with the Kool Aid drinking.
