Juice, cookies, chips and/or doughnuts are served around here. They even recommend hanging around for 15 minutes. When you leave, they suggest you eat a good meal soon.
Back when we were young and stupid we would sign up to donate at lunchtime when they came to our workplace. We were given 4 hours of “recovery time” after we donated. We would stay the 1/2 hour they asked us to stay and then we would go to ChiChi’s for lunch and have margaritas. Then we would go across the street to the mall and shop our little hearts out. I would still be donating but because of all the drugs I take for my various health issues so they won’t take my blood anymore. It’s hard being old.

Oh come on. The most I’ve got was a sandwich, a banana, and some juice :P

Easy Ben. I know you love the sweets, but take it easy. Make sure you have some coffee to wash it down.

They Do this to observe you for a few minutes. To make sure you don’t get lightheaded or dizzy when you leave.

My local Red Cross has juice and cookies — usually including Garibaldis. Yum!

As I said yesterday… WAY TO GO, BEN! We’re all proud of you.
I wonder what his blood type is?
Mine’s common but it can help other types.
