IRL, a lot of business types (like myself) are actually going out of our way to avoid Facebook because of the way companies are now using – and abusing – it to spy on their employees and perspective hires.

Why does Rita appear to be putting on more weight the last few weeks? Where I work all social media is blocked, no cellphones allowed and to be honest I am surprised this site is not blocked. So I will have to give you “like” from here. After an 8.5 hr shift , 3hrs round trip commute and 6 hrs sleep, I see no point in getting a FB account, or most other types.

Very possibly true. Unless you’re doing Garfield or Dilbert, cartoonists make surprisingly less money these days than you might think!

I’ve been a fan of the strip for some time and I look forward to the new book I have a coffee mug a wall clock and the first book allready. I’ve waited patiently for another collection to be printed so I look forward to buying it when its finally released, I find ths strip to be my favorite so as long as it still makes me smile everyday I’ll continue to support it and all of your other ventures.

many companies have social media policies now. with rules like do not divulge insider info, do not post anything that would tarnish our company, etc…so, a lot of do nots. very few dos.

Facebook may not be perfect, and some things about it are annoying. But without it I wouldn’t be here with Christine.

The free part would be how well you can fumble through the setup process to protect your personal information..This is about as ‘social’ as I want to be.

Facebook for all its evils can be a good way to communicate with readers. Just be careful not to give them too much info.

Free or not is a separate issue from well done or not. Facebook is free, as is my account on LinkedIn. One is much better managed than the other, and has a much better user interface. It’s not Facebook. Yes, their purposes are different, but Facebook’s different purpose shouldn’t preclude good design.

I do like this strip (or I wouldn’t be viewing it), but no Facebook for me!

I don’t Face Book (is that really a noun used fer a verb?)for very good reasons. But considering how much I like this cartoon I will put in an entry for a book here. I think most of the ladys in WD are attractive for different reasons. Excepting the old lady. I even think Kathy has promise. They, like thier male counterparts are all so well drawn, and fit the cartoon world so well in context.

Your book is apparently too new to be listed on Amazon.

I had my FB account deleted. It got too inane after a while. Won’t go back. Don’t need it. I have email, Skype, and a couple of virtual worlds to keep in touch with my family and friends. I like Working Daze for the humor in an office where workers are trying to stay sane with an insane boss.

Can’t play on the social sites at work. In some ways…. that is a good thing. In others, annoying.
