Wow. I hope Cory will allude to what happened. Suicide does not seem as likely as foul play in my opinion. It seems less likely January would text “Help” to Cory if she were really of a mind to commit suicide (unless she ended up having second thoughts, perhaps if it was an overdose). It seems more likely that perhaps she was murdered. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++What an unexpected turn of events in this comic. I hope that the death is treated respectfully and not casually. Robyn’s response in today’s comic, seems a little bit casual/callous to my ear.
Seems like Suicide doesn’t it? With the cop replying “Depends on her religion son” when Corey asked if she was in trouble… But “that girl” may not be January, could be a roommate?

Huh? How did she die?

Cory really needs to work on his narrative skills…unless he’s got some deep strategy going, which I doubt.

But didn’t yesterday show it was all a dream?

So that really happened? And people aren’t more upset about it? If that was real, why aren’t we seeing more of what he thinks?
@Collieman, I think she might have committed suicide. If it wasn’t that, I guess she was murdered, but I don’t know how. It happened… Friday, maybe?

Maybe the strips are mixed up. Sunday made no narrative sense. There’s something missing & it should have been in that slot.

Note that she says “that girl” and not “January.”

There can be no “punchline” where suicide or murder is concerned. We are not amused Mr. Thomas.
