    Morning Bucketeers.Greg, thank you for your Christmas wish yesterday.I actually didn’t get back to read the comments after mine, until 10 minutes before posting this one!You see … I cooked a 18lb Turkey yesterday. From frozen … and damn, it was DELICIOUS!!! (Suggest it to your wife… it prevents juices from draining, and contamination of the kitchen, since you don’t thaw it for 4-5 days, and because no juices drain out, it’s much more moist then thawed birds. )

    Mom does the frozen turkey thing. Only prob is that there are no wings!!! But I have converted her to microwave. The first 3/4 of time is in the microwave – I do 11 minutes on medium per pound. Finish off in a pre-warmed regular oven for crispness, browning and any last minute cooking. As Santa allan, ’EH! notes – always use the meat thermometer.
