    It is a common misspelling… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donder even points out both names can be used interchangeably, but the original is Donder (and Blixem is the other).It’s kind of like how when some school children are taught the song “La Bamba,” they are sometimes taught that it starts out “La la la la Bamba” when the actual words are “Para bailar La Bamba” (“to dance the Bamba”). It’s a common misinterpretation and easier to say/spell for those who don’t know Spanish. ;-)
