Hey, complaining is easy. When we lived in the rural outback part of our state, each little town had a sewing sweatshop. Work was hard and pay was lousy—it was basically piecework vs.pretty much minimum wage. If you were among the top performers you beat minimum wage by some; otherwise you got really low pay. There was perennial complaining in the media about these places. Now they are mostly gone— to where I have no clue. And the (mostly) women who worked in them either have no jobs or have to drive a gazillion miles to get to one. And the same original complainers are now complaining about the lack of local jobs. I’m not about to applaud those sweatshops. But at some point one has to wonder whether a minor part of something bad is better than a big part of something non-existent.
KM — ah…. but we see only a few minutes a day of Agnes’ life….I was referring to whether she’s ever seen him during the many more hours she has spent outside her strip.
“Ah, America! Where you can be proud to slowly starve for your millionaire boss and his billionaire banker! "-Or you can do something else. You don’t have to work for anyone at all. You can set what you are willing to work for. You can start your own business.-But it’s more fun to work for someone else then complain about your employer, call him a thief even as he does everything he has contracted to do for you, gripe about how your teachers stopped you from getting a better education and how your neighborhood is to blame too.

How do they steal? How do they make others poorer? All I see are legitimate businessmen.
