Phoebe and Her Unicorn by Dana Simpson for December 03, 2012
Transcript:
Phoebe: Between Thanksgiving and Christmas is a weird time at school. They can't teach us anything new, 'cause we'll just forget it over the holiday. And we can't work on anything OLD since we're all counting down the seconds and we're not paying attention anyway. Marigold: Then why have school at all? Phoebe: My theory is, it's the powerful construction paper lobby.

If you didn’t have those three to four weeks making construction paper Santas you’d all be out on the streets being juvenile delinquents! So there.

Those wacky North Koreans have found a unicorn lair!

Just heard they discovered a “Unicorn Lair” in North Korea.

“Unicorn” is a lousy translation of “Kirin”. And what they actually seem to have done is rediscover an old cave that used to be known as “The Kirin’s Lair”. Same Kirin, by the way, that the Japanese beer is named after.
