I was thinking it would turn out like the Chesterfield sofa in Douglas Adams’ Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. In Germany there are days set aside to put out items for others to take (then the city takes them away).
Okayyyyyy, but nobody lit it, and the cushions were removed, and all they were doing was lifting it.The only thing I can come up with is she booby trapped it, but how is that “Darwinism”?
People who make poor decisions are not fit (able) to survive. They chose to pick up a booby-trapped sofa without examining it. My statement stands..Why do you like to argue so much?

That’s my neighborhood. Put anything remotely usable out by the curb, and it disappears in a heartbeat.

so… if you want (or need) to recycle a couch you deserve to get burned?

So why did it combust or explode or whatever?
vwdualnomand almost 12 years ago
don’t couches have that toxic flame retardant stuff in the cushions. also, why do you need a couch/sofa?
ewalnut almost 12 years ago
Sometimes the toxic flame retardant stuff doesn’t even work to reduce flames.
