Hey Essex60 – that’s a pretty sight to me first thing in the morning. Thanks — that woke me up! Roger, however, would not be a pretty site from the east.
He is going to be soooo “chapped” after that ride. Ouch in so many ways. He just better watch what he dallies his rope to when he ropes the steer. When I was in Sul Ross we had the Cowboys as a group on campus. So I am laughing at butt cowboy in so many ways. Maybe he is from Brokeback Mountain and poor Roger needs a new pair of chaps. His kiddie ones are a bit small.
He’s going nowhere fast teathered to two columns. .Jingle, jangle is supposed to be the spurs unless it’s Verla’s “Jingl Bells”..I’ll mosey on over to “Priceless”, tho’ not interested in any man’s bits but mine.
Linda I figured this was the best to catch you. My avatar is from the cover of a LOVELY children’s book by Margaret Wise Brown. The illustrations in that ‘book are just beautiful and look so life like. When your little man is big enough, I strongly recommend that you read him Margaret Wise Brown’s children’s books. She wrote some LOVELY books for kids. Of course, maybe you are already familiar with her work. :-)
Rojer ah toldja them chaps wuz too small fer ya…!!!(he buyed em frum me at mah lass yurt yard sale)…ah still gots mah spurs tho… they come in handy on date nite.. jus sayin’…
LInda, yes I agree, the most important thing a child needs, no matter how old, is to know that he or she is loved. You are one great grandmother. He is a very lucky little baby!
Oh, LInda, I hope you ordered “Goodnight Moon” as one of the books! My sons loved that book. I would read it to them every night for a long time. Now they are all grown up! Sigh!
She wrote the best children’s books. And she died way too young.
pretty sure it’s Canyon de Chelly in Arizona>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Looks to me like Monument Valley in winter and that is Steamboat Rock featured. I spent most of my adult life ( except for the last 14 years suffering in Florida ) in the Southwest and actually plan to return once grandson gets out of high school this spring.
That is one FAT cat!Family just drove home after finish of WWE (one of grandson’s presents). Lover mentioned a Skype tonight, but I did not know we’d be so late. I would have called his cell, but we both have colds, so I will change what I can down here in office; He’ll be picking me up on Friday to his house.

Anyway…. I was going to have some eggnog…. but I’ve missed my banana daiquiris….
So maybe that’s what I’ll have…. is anybody still around?I hate for Fenton to have to make a whole grinderful just for me…even the little grinder.
One drink will do it, and then it’s off to bed… I’m not at home so I have farther to go….
