Ten bucks? I don’t have five bucks! What do you need a dollar for anyway?

Maybe one of your neighbors will let you borrow one if you shovel for half price, then charge the rest full price and you can get your own.

The first rental house my family had they used the shovel from the coal bin for snow removal. Not optimal, but it works. You may have to be creative Agnes. You’ve found two-string banjos; a snow shovel after that can’t be that hard.

Shovel! When we were kids we had to kick the snow with our feet to clear the walk — and it’s not that light, fluffy snow the kids have now-a-days — it was thick and heavy like dirt — matter of fact it was dirt because we didn’t even have snow – snow hadn’t been invented then — we had to roll up big piles of dirt just to make a snowman, which we called dirtmen — that’s why kids started using coal for the eyes because we all worked in the coalmines and that’s all we had to play with.

Snow shovels, when left in the back yard, are very hard to find after it snows. Trust me.

Borrow someone’s protest sign. that should work as a shovel. and after the snow is cleared…. Agnes can go protest whatever is on the sign.

You can earn money by selling your labor. Most likely those willing to pay for shoveling already have shovels, just don’t want to do the labor.Very likely they will loan you their shovels for the shoveling. In fact, you could trade labor for a loan of their shovel. Shovel today, return the shovel by the end of the day.QED
