It seems too good to be true, and probably is! Watch out Fritzi, something bad is gonna happen. Can’t have you getting happily married off after all these years. What’s next? Are Nancy and Sluggo gonna be allowed to age? Is the name of the strip gonna revert to Fritzi Ritz? Stay tuned !

If they were real Hollywood characters, the “Scandal mags” would be commenting on the upcoming wedding.(And some would even be predicting the divorce!!)

Actually, it would be interesting to see Nancy have a father figure. Would be nice to see Sluggo get a guardian too or does he just have parents the neglect him? That is one part I never figured out. If that was ever explained I missed it. When the strip started their may have been orphans living on their own, but nowadays Children’s Services would get involved. Maybe get him foster parents?
Not cutting the strip down, Guy, just that has been an unanswered question for me since the 60’s. I first started reading newspaper comics when I was in the third grade, and Nancy was part of them. Depending on where I lived and what was available in my local paper I was on and off with Nancy for about 30 years. Now, thanks to the magic of the internet, I am an avid reader once again!
