My daughter once when she was little couldn’t understand why her Cabbage Patch Baby wasn’t allowed to have a bath too,, so I convinced her that baby was made to guard the door from her brother entering….
Children ar natural lawyers. Never mind what the rules are, they are always looking for loopholes to allow them to do what they know they should not be doing.
Lizzie is fast becoming a “big girl” in the way she thinks, talks and acts but at the age of, what? Three? She’s still a little too young to be taking a bath unattended by one of her parents. She could have an unexpected seizure, she could slip and fall getting in or out . . . most anything can happen when you combine young children and bathtubs full of water. What on earth is John thinking?! (And I say John because he’s the one checking on her right now. Elly’s probably still be at the gym, being shamed by Connie into showering naked in front of a bunch of strangers instead of being at home in time for Lizzie to take her bath.)

You have to be really clear with kids on what needs to be done.

Question – at what age, do you stop bathing your child, because you don’t worry about them drowning?

I always worry about them trying to step out of the tub and falling!! those bathroom scales are not accurate anyway!!

With my daughter taking a shower did not necessarily include using soap.
