Quick, Patterson family, turn 180° and you’ll find the hamster!

The trouble with having rodents as pets is their lifespan is only 2 years. BTW I detest rats, even the kind that are kept as beloved pets.

…especially if they’re not really a rat. Animagii live longer, it appears. ;-)

My 4 cats take care of any rodents foolish enough to enter my home. I, on the other hand, kill tree rats as a hobby.

Why do schools even do this?? At Michael’s age?? There are other ways to learn responsibility.

No kidding! Not sure if I want to know what they’re looking at either. {shiver}

Should be interesting to see what happens when he has to tell the teacher that the hamster’s gone.

tree rats? otherwise known as squirrels? lol yes i need a way to get rid of them. vicious vermin.

A bucket, steps made from books and peanut butter on the opposite rim. Never fails to catch an errant hamster.

The hamster appears to be smarter than the whole Patterson family put together.

Meanwhile, I shudder to think at what’s underneath that sink staring back at them!

When my hamster got loose we didn’t find him till after he had made a nest out of all my mother’s frilly underwear!

If it was a rat that was given lots of attention I may come when called, it wouldn’t run up but might womble up with a few side trips. A hamster never knows it’s name and won’t come at all! THey are just not bright enough. They will tunnel through bread go through layers of folded blankets.
