I was just saying to the Cappers, that I was really enjoying two of the funniest Scotsmen going – Billy Connolly and Craig Ferguson on the Late, Late Show. If you’ve never seen Billy Connolly, you can go up on You Tube and see some of his act. He’s also a very talented actor.

How but a little piano from a brilliant young jazz pianist called Eldar ?No last name, just Eldar ! He’s going to play a composition called " Watermelon Island ".Boy we’ve got a lot of talent here tonight and Red’s missing all the action ( and missing in action ).

Bartender, get my friends Bev and Ess the libation of their choice, on me. I’ve got a little business to attend to. If Red comes in or Susan, or any of the other regulars, get them one and put them on my tab.See you all a bit later….

Just checked out the Hood Ornament club. I was not reading BS back then.I once made a Cockatoo Hood ornament of sterling silver; I gave it to a grandson last year.

Oooo I remember the butter guy doing this. Funny both ways. Butter patties all around is kind of funnier, though.

Would somebody please help me make it clear to the turkey’s that it’s not about them!?! Sorry if not on here much. Some health problems. Hope to be back soon.

I made it first of wax, then cast it in sterling; was going to put on my car until I thought of security issues. Grandson (in his 20s) is a blacksmith by hobby and made me a set of Medieval cutlery that year, so I sent him that as a token of MY hobby stuff (it stands about 4" tall and wings curve as I was limited to 3" diam).

The American LeFrance in that collection looks rather like my cockatoo (my companion was a lovely umbrella). I have a few photos back on my PC at home but not great resolution.

Ah thinks Stel kneeds to way in on this chiken wing thing… wear is she enywheys???

Hello all! Thought I’d never get here!

I got caught in the same warp field accident as RedKaycei, in the wee hours — I thought that might be what happened to you, Red! Made a short post…. which I see is still here…Then a slightly longer one, which I saw for a while… My third, much longer, post never showed up…. and when I tried to refresh the comments, my 2nd one had disappeared!

At that point the whole site only returned error pages…. so I finally gave up.

Today I had some stuff to do…and I have to go out again in a while…but I’m glad to be back!

Hey, I brought something to show you guys….

Essex posted those hood ornaments….and I’d been forgetting to show him the one I’d found for the Hawk he’s …um….getting me for Christmas…. right, Ess?

It’s from an old Pontiac, they said….but something about it looks so…. I dunno…so familiar…

I just had to have it.

I don’t really want to change the Hawk at all….So I’m just going to mount this on the dash.

I don’t know why I like it so much…..after all, I got a good deal cos nobody else wanted it….or so it seems…

Well, the Monkey promised more daiquiris…
