wondering how sweatbox is gonna tie into the 70 year old murder mystery… or if he is the “sidestory” that is gonna run alongisde the main one? could sweatbox be the pedophile that mike was inting at months ago (his hvac guy DOES look pretty young, lol) time will tell.. and i will sit here waiting to see what happens.

Hm, 70 years is 1943… Maybe it’s 88 Keyes confessing to the murder of Jenny. Tracy is old…

You found tiny coloring errors, and missed the giant coloring error. Tracy’s shirt collar is supposed to be white. It is only his trenchcoat and hat that are traditionally yellow. The GoComics colorist also gave him a two-tone shirt, like a clown, with half white and half yellow.(But, to be fair, these things do happen. Whoever did the color separatations for the 1987 book “Dick Tracy: America’s Most Famous Detective” gave him a flesh colored shirt collar)

This is a very typical way for a new character to be introduced. We first see him with his particular quirk, interacting with his subordinates or associates, who seem to be used to the quirk. Like Gargles and his mouthwash, or Empty Williams, who started almost every sentence with the phrase “Matter o’ fact”. Very Dick Tracy!

Sweatbox likes it cold, like Moon Maid. That’s the only thing he has in common with Moon Maid.

The thermometer is set at 50, and the guy’s wearing a short-sleeved shirt. Must be an Alaskan.

While Sweatbox is pretty old, I can’t see him as being old enough to have murdered someone 70 years ago… unless he looks much younger than his actual age, I guess we’ll find out, in time

Maybe Sweatbox was a witness to the murder, as a child… the actual perp was his uncle, Walt Wallet!!!! (Who is certainly old enough to have done the deed, way back when) ;) (joke)

The dialogue in the last panel is just SO Gouldian! (Reminds me of Gargles with his mouthwash, Mumbles having one of his men constantly translating, Blowtop blowing up at the smallest little thing, etc (Basically, besides looking weird, Tracy villains often had quirks that reflected their names )
