legaleagle48: I don’t know who the hell peed in your Cheeri-O’s yesterday to make you turn on me the way you did but I’ll have you know that I didn’t appreciate it. Just because I defended you to someone that called you a hater and a troll, that doesn’t mean I was thinly disguising the fact that I agreed with them. Because if I did, I either would have kept silent or I would have just come right out and said I agreed with them.
And as far as the Cathy/pen/diary storyline goes, just because I don’t remember it doesn’t mean I don’t believe it happened — just the opposite, as a matter of fact [and I even said as much]. I read approximately 81 comics every day — 7 days a week — [yes, I know, as a stay-at-home wife, I’ve obviously got no life] and it’s completely impossible for me to remember every single subject/storyline of every single one of them — especially as long as a year later so I’m sorry that if by my not remembering a specific Cathy comic that was so important to you came across as not believing you. That certainly wasn’t what I meant and I’m sorry if you were offended.
I’ve been a regular reader/poster here for 5 years now. Anyone that “knows” me knows that if anything, I try to be a peacemaker between people who don’t get along and are very vocal about it so that this little corner of the Go Comics universe is always a pleasant place to visit — not only for us regulars but also for anyone else who just happens to stop by. I’ve quit reading other comics and their comments because of the nastiness there and I’ve just always been determined not to let that happen here. So given that, you can’t possibly imagine how bad I felt after that little “sucker-punch in the stomach” you gave me. I hope it was worth it . . . that by being mean and rude to me, it built you up and made you feel a whole lot better about yourself yesterday. At least my very existence won’t be for nothing as far as you’re concerned and I’ll have cheered you up a least a little bit anyhow.

I wish I had these people here with me right now, eagerly wanting to help me fix whatever’s going on with my laptop, because I sure could use the advice. And to think this thing is still practically brand new too — it’s only about 3 months old!!!!!
Hi, rgcviper!
lightenup: I cleared out all my cookies last night before doing a complete hard shut down and I’m still having the same problems I described yesterday. I’m not a GC “Pro” like you [and a lot of others] are. Do you think that might have anything to do with not being able to see my calendar anymore? That unless I give them money now, I can no longer see it? How much do they charge to be a “Pro”? What all do you get for the money? [But even if that part were true, that still doesn’t explain what’s going on at the other (2) websites that I’m having problems with too.] Well, on the upside, it cuts down on quite a bit of comment reading and writing that I now no longer have to worry about anymore, that’s for sure!!!!! ;-)
Hello and Happy Thursday, fellow “Cathy” fans. Hope everyone is staying warm as best they can! ;-)

Personally, the snacks would’ve attracted me more than the technology. That’s just me, though.
@lindz.coopYou might try the Comics Kingdom website to access the Comics Kingdom strips. For a rate of around $20 a year (pretty reasonable), you have access to a LOT of good comics. Good luck.
HI, MOM. So sorry to hear of your trouble with another commenter recently. I always try to remember that communication online often comes out as we didn’t exactly mean it, so maybe it was just a misunderstanding. You’re definitely an upbeat, positive person, and I enjoy seeing you here on the “Cathy” page and around GoComics.

GretchensMom, please accept my sincere apology. You’re right — I should have realized that you were only trying to keep the peace by responding to the real troll in the room. However, I did respond directly to him/her/it, and asked him/her/it exactly what I did to him/her/it to deserve the unwarranted attack. I misinterpreted your comment to mean that you sometimes think that I am a troll (nothing could be further from the truth, as a matter of fact; I have never gone out of my way to insult anyone. In fact, if your friends had bothered to read what I originally posted, they would have seen that and not automatically assumed that I was out to beat up on anyone, least of all you!
To put it as succinctly as I can: Just because you disagree with what I say (or how I say it), it doesn’t make me a troll. I. AM. NOT. A. TROLL.
Got that? Good. Now, let’s move on.
