[Sigh] “Nut-job saleswoman alert, line one …”

(Not that that’s much different from Cathy, but still.)

HI, MOM. Good Sunday Morning, “Cathy” Clan.

I love shoes, but not tight ones. If the hair behaves that day and the shoes are perfect….it’s a good day all round.

Feet can change size. Ask a woman who has been pregnant.

My choice when a shoe looks big is to look for a different style or color (to me white tennis shoes look too big on my feet, but a darker color can often help)

Then why when I went from 186 to 145 pounds did I have to toss my too loose shoes along with all my other clothes?

I agree with the other ladies here, feet do change with pregnancy and regular changes in weight. My shoes have to be comfortable, I walk too much for them not to be. Is it just me or does the guy look like he’s related to Irving?

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday Cathy clan!

If I can’t have both comfort and style at the exact same time, then I won’t buy them. Life is just too short to walk around inugly, uncomfortable shoes!!!!! ;-)

    Hi, rgcviper!

Sigh… my feet were already big (well, I am tall so it makes sense, but still) and then carrying 2 babies pushed them up a size. It’s a cruel joke on women. But I think that women who shove their feet (no matter the size) into shoes that are too small, only make their feet look oversized and it makes me wince. Especially in the summer when I’ve seen women’s toes that are longer than their sandals. Eww. And owww.I buy shoes that are my size, but pay attention to the style. Some styles make my feet look longer and wider than they already are.Happy Sunday Cathy friends!

My feet have been the same size for over 40 years. Makes it much easier to shop for shoes. Don’t care how big my feet look, or not, so even easier. Shop for comfort not so much for style. The joys of being male. (not quite though – my wife often wants a say on which pair of shoes I buy), Happy Day Before Thanksgiving for all my fellow Canadians. We are having our turkey tonight since tomorrow we leave for our annual visit to Phoenix for a conference. Looking forward to some more summer weather since we did not get much at home here.

Cathy, you should have listened to the shoe salesman…trying to stuff a size bigger in a size smaller is something you Are Really going to regret . I tried that once or twice…never again! =-O

Happy Thanksgiving to you hendelca — sorry it’s late, haven’t been home all day. Have fun in Phoenix.Re Cathy, my mother was worried I would never find a husband because of feet too big, too tall, etc., never had a problem — on number 2 and I no longer worry about “big feet.” I’m also shorter than just about all of my friends — so Mom needn’t have ever worried.
