Actually, although this is a repeat from 2005, the last name “Andrews” was first revealed back in 1988 during the Cathy animated special on TV. Interestingly, it was never used in the comic strip before this one, though.
I’ve known women with established careers that kept their maid-en names for that purpose only, because that’s who they were known by regarding all of their business relationships. But whenit comes to their personal and private relationships, they call themselves Mrs. (whatever-his-last-name-is). Seems like a pretty good compromise to me.
