Kellogg’s no longer makes croutons, I cannot make my grandma’s stuffing =(

I remember tearing a couple loaves of white bread into little pieces a couple of days before my Mom made stuffing. It needed to get hard and crunchy to make good sage stuffing. I have had a lot of great stuffings over the years, but I still equate the smell of sage with the holidays.

My MIL tore up 3 different kinds of loaf breads (one was dark brown) to make her stuffing. She added lots of garlic bits to it. It was always my favorite.

I can’t get my head around the idea of anybody putting sausage in stuffing. Yeah, I’m sure all your recipes are great. I’m just personally kind of repulsed by it.

Yup, everyone has their own favorite “Grandma’s stuffing.” Or it can be called dressing too.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! The stores are getting crowded. Have a great day, all!

I hate to admit this but I’m pretty picky when it comes to the taste of stuffing so the only person’s I’ll eat ….. is my own! ;-)

Hi, rgcviper! :-)
.
Hello and Happy Tuesday, fellow Cathy fans! Earlier today I saw something posted on Cathy Guisewite’s Facebook page regarding why she hasn’t written any new “Cathy Commiser-ations” lately so if you’re interested, check out the paraphrased explanation I left over on the 11/17 board. Have a great day, everyone! ♥

For some reason reading the comments today is making me hungry. And our next turkey with stuffing day is not until Christmas!
Enjoy this fine Tuesday.

My dad and I make a pretty mean bread stuffing each year—often for both Thanksgiving and Xmas. The holidays wouldn’t be the same without it, either.
As for the scene above? Feel the love …
HI, MOM. Hello, Clan.

I saw the explanation for no “Cathy Commiserations” for the past few days…she’s so busy processing all the orders she got for the Cathy paraphernalia, that she has no time to do them. I guess she was totally swamped and everything sold out in just a couple of days. We still love our Cathy.
