Cathy: When you eat a carrot that contains nothing but carrot, it zooms through your system as a "carrot". When you eat a piece of mass-produced carrot cake that contains 32 ingredients, your metabolism screeches to a halt while your body tries to figure out what all those things are that you just swallowed, and what it's supposed to do with them. Therefore, the problem isn't "fat", it's piles of excess ingredients your body's stacked on its inner shelves and vowed to sort out later! Charlene: Impressive! Cathy: I have my "honorary doctorate in dieting".

That really does sound quite reasonable. I will have to remember it and use it the next time my wife comments on my excess weight.I would not mind my body shelving those ingredients for later analysis if it stored them a little more evenly over my entire body.
Please enjoy the day!
