Cathy and Irving: DON'T LOOK! We're going to lose most of this! It will be in shape soon! AACK! COVER UP! COVER UP!!
June: Swimsuit season for the garage.
My mind resembles this garage on our tax day. I’m going to take a vacation from Cathy. (I miss seeing the clan and hope everyone is well and enjoying his or her summer!)
There you go, just as I suspected. Not that it’s a huge surprise with all the stuff these two buy. I get it for people who use their garage for a workshop or something useful. I wouldn’t mind a 3 car garage to put bikes and gardening tools in the 3rd spot, and then use it for a car if there are overnight visitors.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! Have a great day, all!
Given the unexpected and uninvited way Irving’s parents just showed up on their doorstep out of the blue with all of their belongings in a U-Haul truck a year ago this past April 28th, I highly suspect that a majority of that junk belongs to them rather than everything in that packed-from-floor-to-ceiling garage being Cathy and Irving’s possessions alone.
It’s way beyond time for C&I to grow at least ONE backbone between them and tell those two lazy bums that they want the use of not only their garage, but also their house, back again so they need to find somewhere else for both them AND their stuff to live. But will they? Highly doubtful because they’re completely spineless and have let his parents — especially his mother — call all the shots and rule their “roost” ever since they got there!

Hello and Happy Tuesday, fellow Cathy fans. Have a really great day today, everyone! ♥
Gretchen’s Mom – glad you finally got your library/sewing room finally set up. I understand that it does take room to be able to sort things out in your garage. We have been in this house for 6 years now and my lab is still stuffed and I have trouble finding things. I do want to sort things out and get rid of things I no longer need but there is just not enough room to do the sorting. I do try now and again but get frustrated rather quickly with the lack of space. It is getting better and maybe someday it will be done – probably just in time for whoever survives me to clear the rest of it out.
Living here in sunny Florida, without basements, and with attics that would cook just about anything stored in them, garages are mostly used for storage. Of all my neighbors, I’m the only one I know of that can actually get a car in their garage – and I have only a one car garage at that. There is a snowbird couple who store a car in theirs while up north, but owning two homes does give one more storage space.

There’s only a one letter difference between “garage” and “garbage”.

I spy two pumpkins and what looks like a banjo. Your turn.

Time for a garage sale! Though knowing these two they will probably have a hard time parting with anything.

Wow … that’s a LOT of garage stuff. (Thank you, Captain Obvious, I know. Ha.)

I can relate…I’m still shredding student papers, tests and grades from way too many years ago.
