I don’t need a Spring Flu to shop. I just shop for necessities right now, mostly. I needed a new wall mounted porch light and went to LOWES. I am so happy with my new pick. Of course that new light lead to a new doormat….a new broom for sweeping the porch….new porch planter.
I never read advertising. The last thing I need is suggestions for stuff to buy. Buying things I need leaves me just enough cash for luxuries like good books, which will last a lifetime.
My bedroom closet has two rods where I hang up my shirts, dresses, etc. This weekend, I moved my short sleeve shirts to the front rod and my long sleeve ones to the rod in the back. I am not planning on buying new clothes unless I have to replace a few shirts. But if I do, I will likely go to either Macy’s, Target, Old Navy and/or one of the consignment stores near my home. Or I might even order something from LL Bean online. But bottom line, I am not going on a spending spree for new clothes. If I buy something new, it will likely be books.

I’m with you mistercatworks…I never look at ads…they’re just a pain in the butt that has to be deleted and/or thrown away.

Wonder if they have an anti-shopping vaccine? If so, it might be worth a try ….
