Okay, so I’ll admit to a lot of ignorance here, but I have been forced to watch a fashion show or two and I have never seen anyone actually wearing the stuff the women on the cat walk wear. Is that the way it is supposed to work?
Nothing like crazy shoes for “standing still wear”. I’ve only HAD to run a few times in my life but I REALLY had to run. Stupid shoes or mangled feet could have resulted in serious consequences. NOTHING looks better than a woman who moves well. You cannot move well in crippling shoes.
If Cathy buys an ugly, mismatched, over-priced outfit that she can’t wear unless she’s standing still, then she’s dumber than I thought! When it comes to picking out clothes, if I can’t wear and move comfortably in something, then it’s going to stay on the rack in the store no matter HOW inexpensive and/or pretty it is ….. which, by the way, doesn’t apply to anything Cathy’s got on here. Well, except the shoes. They look like black canvas slip-on sneakers, which I would totally wear because I’m all about comfort when it comes to my shoes. But that’s it. Everything else she’s wearing just makes me want to go AACK!!! :-P

Hi, rgcviper! :-)
.
Hello and Happy Thursday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope you all had a really nice day today! ♥
I think the ever trusty {eyeroll} handles this quite nicely.
Another two interesting ‘spring’ days. On our way south yesterday we hit everything – a little sunshine, snow, rain, freezing rain, and sleet. Glad it was only a 1.5 hour drive. Today on the way back – just he sun and rain since it was much warmer. Took a look at the lake today and it looks really bare. All the icehuts are now gone and there is a layer of slush on top of the ice. True signs of spring.

Cathy’s first comment was correct and was true in the final panel too!

Maybe it’s just me, but movement does seem slightly important in order to enjoy clothes … AACK.

I do like casual clothes, but they can be made to look professional if you work at it.
