Perfect mates? More like perfect idiots. As for Jer, he’ll never have to worry about getting haemorrhoids since he’s a perfect . . . er . . . I don’t think I’m allowed to SAY that word here.

I agree with Jer. What Burl said is completely different. He did not say he wanted to be alone with Joy, just that he wanted to be alone. And, of course, he wants her to be cooking for him! Given that Hobson’s choice, I’d want to be alone as well, but I’d never want Joy to cook for me. Except maybe for her Cream of HoHo coup.

Levitra aftershave!Seems like it would have the wrong effect….. You want to suppress your beard… not …OK never mind.

But while we’re speaking of indelicate matters…. sort of….I can understand how the subject of hemorrhoids might come up when talking about Jerry…but if it’s cos of his t-shirt…THAT says Greek hardware.

    Yeah right.

    Hard head. That’s about it.

And I was going to say what Mikie said…. Burl is NOT saying “alone with Joy.”

He wants to be alone as far away as possible from Joy…. while still being within hearing distance so she can call him for dinner.

In fact, he wants her to be cooking all day, partly so she won’t bother him.

Hey, what the heck… he has a cell phone now…. he only has to be within calling distance…. maybe close enough so dinner won’t get cold before he gets there.

BTW I am not finding the Find-It…. though I did eventually find the place that says “Find-It,” which was itself hidden.

Well Joy isn’t even paying attention anyway. Burl only knows if she is in the kitchen then she is heating up the TV dinners and her baking cookies means they are out of the bag and on a plate. Does she nuke them to make them warm?? Cooking means you are tossing things together and hope it comes out OK….. baking you are measuring and hoping it comes out OK …

With frozen and ready made dough even Joy can “bake cookies”. “Making cookies” takes a bit more effort and expertise, two things sorely lacking in Penny Manour.

If Burl wants to be alone while Joy bakes, then maybe the baking aroma is so bad he wants to be out of the kitchen. In reality, they do very little that they are not alone.

I was about to say that she never bakes until Ling reminded me of those slice and bake things.
