Just got home from my 7 hour shift. How lovely to go from 2 am to 3 am in an instant! Much nicer to lose an hour of work than an hour of sleep. Speaking of which…..goodnight!

I just think about those folks in Arizona, they don’t do DST, they just keep on keeping on but have to adjust their brain to remember the other times for work and such. Frankly, my brain don’t like working that hard so I would rather turn the clock back or forward so I can see what time it is, and no one actually calls arizona anyway. lol just kidding.

personally I like the time change..gives me another hour of daylight to do things at home after I get off work..much rather have that hour of light in the evening when I can use it instead of in the morning when I can’t work outside cuz I have to get ready for the office

Now that there is more Daylight Savings Time than Standard Time, Standard Time is sub-standard.

What’s idiotic is changing the clocks twice a year.

Last fall, I just left my clocks set to summer time… I continued to get up and go to bed at the same time as I had all summer long last year..I found that I slept better and it gave me an extra hour in the mornings all winter long..I intend to leave my clocks set to summer time for the rest of my life. No more having to “adjust” to time changes for me.

When told the reason for daylight saving time the old Indian said…‘Only a white man would believe that you could cut a foot off the top of a blanket and sew it to the bottom of a blanket and have a longer blanket.’;→

Don’t change the clocks, just change the schedules. I am still missing two hours from the time the changes happened on my birthday. I demand compensation.

“The sun sets an hour later today.” Rubbish! It sets marginally later, since we are still between the solstice and the equinox, but we did not change the time it sets. We only changed (by stupid government decree) what we CALL the time it sets. It is long past time that the concept of daylight savings was put to bed. With 24-hour scheduling for many businesses, and lights and computers left running all night, it really doesn’t save energy, and what the twice-yearly change actually does, according to a number of studies, is mess with people’s health, and therefore with their productivity as well.
