Remember when you couldn’t rewind it?

Our PVR (DVR) can show up to the last 59 minutes, before the channel was changed. I use it because I get distracted by online comics.

Yes, and a damn shame too. More shows back then were worth saving, unlike today.

Not really, though, I seem to remember there was a time somewhat long ago that I did not have a VCR. Probably back when all my friends had Nintendos except for me. lol

I am one of those who has had a collection in every media since the BetaMax (working at Zenith, I bought many of those and saved 100s of tapes). I hated to loose all the operas, especially (and a few very “R” rated ones). I since bought an Amazon copy of one of those, but it’s an X that I’m embarrassed to even show my lover. We discussed it but it really is not anything we need. I prefered the R!

My collection of VHS is larger but not the selection and I’d like to sell them if anyone would want. My collection of DVDs is even more varied and uncountable and hopefully my LAST collection. HD and Blueteeth are not needed for these 75 y o eyes.

My wife would invariably fall asleep during TV shows and I’d have to recap the action during the commercials, which were loud enough to wake her up.

Yes and I remember getting mad when the dialog got really quite and you had to jump up and turn it up real fast. You still missed what was said.
