So Michael’s 9, huh?

I have two grandkids. Both girls. Oldest one could win an academy award. Come to think of it, the pre-teen could, too. I’ve heard the teen boys can be the same. I think Jon is showing amazing foresight.

Let’s see….when I was nine, my sister was three. How old is Elizabeth here?

Ah, those teenage years, when you know everything.

And before anyone asks, it will be another five years before April is born. Mike had just turned 14, and Elizabeth was about nine when April came along, so April will be conceived in July 2017 and be born in April 2018.

It’s nice being at the age when you know everything.

Yes in your teens your parents are really lame and out of it. It took me until 25 to realize how much my parents had learned in the last 10 years or so ha!

“Only fools think that.”Yes, and most teens are pretty foolish at one point or another…..

“I was so much older then, I’m younger than that now”

Around 13 or 14 till your early 20s, you know everything there is to know. After that, every day you seem to know less and less…… at the rate I’m going soon I will know absolutely nothing.

I know what you mean! In my teens, I probably thought I knew a WHOLE lot more than the “average” person did too. Now I’m in my early 40’s and for quite some time, I’ve found myself forgetting more things than I probably ever REALLY knew to begin with — and it seems to be getting a little bit worse every single day. You’re not the only one who thinks that given the way things are going, pretty soon you’ll know absolutely nothing because I feel myself headed that way too!!!!!

There are people that decided everything sometime before their kids were born and were not going to change their minds one iota as the kids were growing up.My father was sure that he knew all about college admissions and was always sure that nothing had changed. The one thing that I have learned in life is that everything changes a bit and there are no absolutes.

There’s a big difference between knowing everything and being a know-it-all.

Those who know, know that they know.Those who don’t know, don’t know they don’t know …

At 75, I can’t seem to remember a lot of things I should be able to remember on a daily basis. It can be frightening at times, believe me.

I reached that point many years ago.

I see Michael plays with “Willy Warmonger” toys. How PC is that?
