Hey, I thought it was the 7ty. or is it that already? Did I miss it.Sorry if my present dosn’t get there today. Pig out on cake. You need the energy. Love you very much. Happy Birthday.Blessed Be.
The newspaper is a good start. I am hoping that there is a bold large announcement first thing in the morning. Get some extra paper boys/girls to be sure everyone gets a copy. Make it sound like " What the *^(()^)43 is going on?"Endtown readers need to know.Blessed Be.
Happy Birthday Aaron! Let’s all vote a few extra times at TopWebComics for Endtown 2.0, Jenner’s Doc Rat and the original Endtown. Level_Head has provided some voting links, and I am sure Surfi will also. If you have a few extra shekels, drachma, Euros or dollars please consider sending Aaron a little(or big) birthday present. I believe both the auction site and aaronneathery.org have DONATE buttons.Sincerely, Respectfully & Fraternally,JusSayinALL THE BEST ALWAYS, AND IN ALL WAYS.
I have a deep suspicion that Albert is not the only one sweating. With the High Council system compromised, what is to stop someone cutting off everyone in the 10 rooms. Each would assume they were the only sane one.
When they voted against the insanity they would assume they were the only ones, but I suspect that in reality all 10 high council members voted against the insanity and that Mr Allgood is the one controlling the system and voted 9 for 1 against.
After all even though serving is anonymous it would be so easy afterwards to find out who was missing from the population at the time of the votes. So it is easier not to be one of the 10 and then sow confusion as each of the 10 argue that they were not the ones responsible, while the hacker is not suspected since they were never missing from the Endtown population.
Probably a maintenance tech is responsible for installing a way for an external individual to over ride the system and gave control to Allgood.
Happy Birthday, Aaron. I hope you’re feeling better. Looks like you’re going to have a real war in Endtown, huh? Endtown is never, EVER boring. WTG! Big hugs, too!
Philo: “Put this in the Helpful household Hints column – ‘Keep your paramilitaries in fully ziplocked bags to prevent leakage. Clean them occasionally with diluted lemon juice and an old toothbrush. Dry them in indirect sunlight. It’s a good thing’.”
Is there anybody else on this forum who is a fan of the series “Firefly”? I wondered because, as a fan of both the strip and the series I see a lot of parallels. Excellent story telling, solid characters that you can believe in and feel for, the way things can go from comic to scary in a hearbeat. I’m just curious.
Well, the names “Tom” and “Elsie” suggested another TV show to me…but names get reused all the time…so unless their last names prove to be “Sloane,” I won’t bring it up. (Another well-known comic strip uses every name but one from “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer,” so go figure.)#I have a feeling the Endtown Exminer has the story, but not all of it. As of the moment, only Roxie knows of Mr. Allgood and his involvement in all this.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AARON! Thank you for all you do to keep this strip moving! You are a true artist in every sense of the word! Be well and blessings always!
Haven’t the rats shot up the newspaper once already? Back when the files showing Albert and Gustine were being held? Back when they abducted the jackrabbit for their “trial”?
Happy, Happy birthday to you, Happy, Happy birthday to you. Many more.Looks like the next attack will occur at the Newspaper office in 5,4,3,2, maybe tomorrow? The council is probably going to start seizing control and soon. The editor is NOW worried about a paramilitary state. They have been living in one for some time. Under wartime conditions. Its just never come to this before about mutants rights and maintaining humanity. No one said anything when the rats causing issues on returning scavengers returning or leaked information to the press. Press never complained then. Could it be they have had enough? But how could that be the council has not been out of order before?Interesting that they are now getting all excited about this incident.
I just want to remind the Editor of one thing.Learned this a long time ago.Actually in Beach Boys Surf’s Up album “Student Demonstration Time”“The pen is mightier than the sword, but it is no match for the GUN.”Tread easy, tread safe folks.
Is it me, or does the editor have a passing semblance to Wile E. Coyote? The press will have to tread a fine line here, for they have to expose the corruption in the HC, but in such a manner that the rat goon squads aren’t called in reply. That’s where Roxie and/or Albert would be most helpful in getting information, but at a great risk to themselves.
I’m guessing the Editor’s concern about paramilitary control is not being in a wartime situation where the soldiers are there to protect the citizens, but are there to control the citizens. Big difference.
Thanks to EVERYONE for the birthday greetings! Your thoughts and wishes have made this day very special. Endtown has some awesome readers.. ’nuff said. :-)
Thank you Aaron for your wonderful imagination and for your skill in drawing all the spot on emotions of the Endtowners.I was a very young draw-er, with my left hand and pencil, but can remember crying in frustration when my brown crayon was lost and I couldn’t hit on the right way to get a good brown. purple and yellow just wasn’t the color of graham crackers, orange and brown would have been better. I was younger that 7 at the time.
Did you start drawing everything you saw while still little? Are you a lefty? I must have drawn 100 coffee cups and way more Rabbits before starting school. And houses! WIth wood fences, with nails.
I read yesterday that any protesters are now classified as y “low level terrorists” WHere is an editor like this one when you really need one? l The 1st amend. right to peacible assembly to express concern over how the government handles things is no longer a right. Now you can go to jail as well as have the police casually gas you .

It’s so deep, you have to climb high to get to the bottom of it.I know that doesn’t make sense, but if you’re high enough, it sounds deep.
