I relate to this one! Thanks Dave. Years ago we needed a name for our little farm. I thought about it and realized that every time I needed a tool, it was broken, bent, or otherwise due for replacement. It didn’t take long to come up with “Bent Tine Farm”, and we use it to this day. It was either that, or “Cracked Hoe”…..(the above anecdote is 100% TRUE!)

Here’s my take: The spade company had too much inventory and had to move it, so their selling tactic is to offer them as ‘defective’ pitchforks.??
