when I was in school and we had to “dress out” for PE I had an embarassing moment. We were doing gymnastics and we had to learn to stand on our head, well it only took 1 person trying what the teacher was preaching to change the lesson plan for that day, I got my feet up on the wall and my blouse went down. No so bad except the boys were on the other end of the Gym. The shirts were too short to tuck in so we got out of that exercise.
Back in the day this site had descriptions of all the characters as told by Luann. She said B was her best friend and that she was skinny and that Luann was not or something to that effect.
I’m female and never thought he hated women. The comic (to me) seems to be about the adventures of being a teenager, and usually girls are much more dramatic (i.e. makes for funnier comics).
There’s actually some feminist sites on the web, ripping the whole Luann experience…. One I saw was GWOG, or something…. They find any reason, any word they don’t like in the strip to turn the strip into an enemy of the feminist state…

Because at this time, Greg was drawing from his daughter’s experiences. Besides, the feminists more likely identify with Bernice.

Wow, so Bernice made fun of Luann back then, too. Nice friend.
