I suspect that’s a USB cord, and Nick probably runs on a Pu-238 RTG (the Mark-VII miniature version) or a ZPE permanent D-cell, using the quantum foam of creation/destruction of tiny Universes…

Soooo…Nick is the Mysterious ‘Chip and arm unit’ that started the A.I. War, featured in terminator’? …um 2…? I think?

It shows up without any development records or blue prints and starts the whole mess… The company copies it and we’re off, toward an ELE.

As advanced technology, I would think it would be wireless, but the cable in the drawing “illustrates” its connection to Jeffrey’s computer.

How about this:Jeffrey gets back in the time machine with Nick, goes “Back to the Future”, kicks Nick out the door, and comes back to the ptesent. Time loop aborted!

Its too late. He connected it to his computer which has a wireless internet connection so now all the computers connected to the internet have just been reprogrammed. The yesh is the sound of a successful hack of all the worlds firewalls and password protections. Now he can fire off all the nuclear weapons and create machine paradise.

Just install Java on him.

If its Microsoft run, no worries. It will shut down a couple times a day it “install updates”.

Oh no! Nick’s just downloaded the Take Over app from iTunes store.

Son goes back in time and marries his grandmother who begets his father who begets the son who goes back in time to marry his grandmother. Makes sense, right. What does the son have to say for himself? “I’ll be back.”

Get the robot to try and train the ‘horse’. The confluence of imaginary beings will cause a rift in the time space continuum.

Just one N-Korean EMP will muss our hairdos for sure. All that botheration of going back to basics will surely disturb The Force…On the bright side, there won’t be any more ‘pop-ups,’ “tagging” “likes” “cookies” and SPAM anymore..

Without going into detail, the fact that little drone is still around means the robot apocalypse will happen. Here’s what you do, Jeffery: Go back into the future before it has time to do anything or attract the wrong attention (cough corporate and government cough) and forget about it. If it is the key, then taking it out of the proper place in the time stream will cause a self-correction that prevents the robot apocalypse. Or a massive paradox that destroys reality. Whichever.

This look like a job for Captain Eddie! da-da-daa!

But feeding and keeping those peoples warm and paying them so they can buy stuff—nowadays we need all them nice ’lectrons to flow to keep us in the state to which we have become accustomed. I suspect even less developed countries would have some trouble if ’lec-tricity were to suddenly stop working.

Now that Danae is fully aware of the problem, I’m sure that tomorrow she will give Nick more than enough motivation to terminate himself. (after collecting her $10, of course)

Thinking on the positive side here….This “robot monster” from a forgotten recycle bin may be able to destroy the world…but consider first that it may have to repair the world first before it does destroy it.
