A 1981 sewer explosion destroyed two miles of paved road in Louisville, Kentucky! 20-year-old Brooke Greenberg Matthew Riese, from San Francisco has built a hovercraft from a replica 1981 DeLorean sports car!
I remember the sewer blast… the schoolbus I was on got diverted because of that. It was caused by hexane vapors leaking into the sewers from a local processing plant. They used to have annual sewer blast parties at the University of Louisville after that… probably still do.
My dad had to do a presentation for Delorean once, he said the man could do 6 things at once and keep track of everything. My dad had a 5 minute time slot to present a new product or improvement to a product, during the presentation Delorean was writing a memo, dictating another memo, on the phone with 2 or 3 people. After the 5 mins. Deloean said to him that his numbers were wrong on page 10 of the flip chart, just a one or two prices. Delorean liked the presentation and gave my dad another 20 mins of his time to sign the deal.
Brooke Greenberg’s story makes me think of an episode from BTAS, where Batman encounters a criminal who goes by “Baby Doll” and is stated to have had some extremely medical condition that made him stop growing/aging — for example, even by the time Baby Doll was an adult (like in her 20s and 30s), she still looked like a little kid.

Although a replica, does that hovercraft have a flux capacitor and travel through time at 88 mph?

I wonder whose ID is more likely to get rejected — hers or Fredrik Saker’s from yesterday?

I wonder if it can travel the route from “Bullet”, up and down those San Francisco hills.

Well, if you’re gonna build a hovercraft, I think you should give it a little class.
