You don’t want to know how many bosons there are in the cake!

I do, Brewster, chocolate cake, to be exact.

So Higgs Boson is the new pope?

Interaction with the Higgs field causes some particles to have mass, including protons, neutrons, and electrons. The Higgs field is also required to explain the extremely short range of the nuclear weak force. The unstable Higgs boson is the particle associated with the Higgs field, and it’s more straightforward to generate the Higgs boson (with very high energy colliders), and quickly detect it before it breaks down, than to try to directly measure the Higgs field.

It’s also delicious! (actualy, that is a good description)

No, it’s made of chocolate. It should be called the Higgs bonbon.

Physicists at Fermilab in Batavia, IL have been participating in the search for the Higgs Boson. A project on the 6800-acre Fermilab grounds is a restoration of the native prairie, including a herd of buffalo. Would it therefore be correct to refer to them as the Higgs Bison?

Brewsters a flippin’ genius… so….in conclusion… if teh Higg’s Bosun is REALLY chocolate cake, then…….my berilium alloy fork is a particle accelorator….as evidence by my critical (m)ass……..(jus sayin’)

Actually it’s not chocolate, it’s what you use to make Boson Cream Pie. Many Boson’s died to make this strip.
