Now that’s an idea, the party that wins (along with whoever voted for them) Pays. Simple way to end the complaining about paying for something you didn’t want.
Romney paid 13% on investment dividends and/or interest, just as you or I would. Had he had regular income he would have paid the top rate, whatever that is.
Romney and the Republicans promised all the rich people they’d never have to pay taxes again, but it turns out they didn’t win the election. It’s sad but true: the 1% are going to have to share in the tax burden all the rest of us pay.
