The cat at work once walked across the key board and somehow the display got turned upside down. Had to call the computer shop down the street to come and put it back right side up. Not even he had any idea how the cat did it.
When I had my old C-64, my cat would sit on the big external disc drive. A definite bun-warmer.But it was her sitting on the dot-matrix printer that I don’t even want to think about,…talk about cheap thrills!
I know someone whose brother has a touch screen monitor for his computer. When the cats are shedding, some of that loose fur ends up on the monitor. The computer becomes unpredictable. The computer thinks the user is touching it every place the fur lands. Text gets highlighted, random files open and close, menu bar buttons get clicked, which windows have focus changes, etc..
What I do with my cats would work with Garfield. He is too heavy (as in the weight of a ’57 Chevy heavy). My cats lie in my lap while I am on the computer. It works out fairly well.

That’s not why they call it a laptop, Garfield!

Desktop or laptop, no computer is safe for a cat wanting to nap upon it due to its cooling fan.

That must be Garfield’s laptop.

Typical cat. If you want to spend time with them they ignore you. If you find something else to do, there they are wanting attention!

OH NO! Et Tu, Garfield? Cats and computers bits do NOT belong here.

This seems very familiar. My cat seems to think of my laptop as her personal butt-warmer.

Doesn’t make any sense, if he’s lying down on the whole keyboard, how is there no numbers?
