Oh! Elizabeth!! I’m coming to join you, Honey!…(Fred Sanford aka Andy Capp upon being asked to do any real work….)Thanks Bev…you know what for….for understanding a granny getting all verklempt…Mongo Monday Hugs ((((((( CAPPERS ! )))))))Unless our Mystery Man contacts me very early, this will be it till at least Tuesday…on the way home…be well, be kind, and be happy all!
Andy’s likes the Dole; if something’s fixed, don’t break It. His only hope now, is to plead insanity. Claiming He needs to work might actually raise more browse. if at first You don’t shuck need, or do sew-well, triage, triage again. My turn at the Radar station; time’s a-mountin’
Wow, two funny ones in a row to start the week. (Of course, it would’ve been even funnier if the art had had Andy’s blood pressure actually popping the gauge, but we can’t have everything…..)@Number SixI hope you’re feeling better and will soon be up to treating us to some more of your delightful MonkeyNuts and Mad Capps!
@ home again and expecting more snow…Ruth cracked me up just a bit ago. She called when she saw my Mini Cooper in the drive, and said; “You know we are supposed to get another 6-9 inches of snow, right?” I told her yes, that I had already cried on Amtrack about it. She said, “Girl, I would welcome 6 to 9 inches, but not of snow!” I literally laughed until I cried and my cat came out to check to see if I had lost my mind…. below this, is another blurb from our blogger in the Rocky Mountain State…
Chalkee’s blow up shot really brings out the cherub in that li’l girl.I loved that “Let it all hang out” song, even back when it was new. .Thanks for the Classics spread, Stagger and Sandfan..I will be glad when Number 6 stops “monkeying around” and gets us our fix !
@Chalkie jI’m a huge fan of Ibsen (I think his “The Wild Duck” is one of the best plays in any language since Shakespeare kicked off), yet this gave me a huge laugh. Of course I feel somewhat just a bit sheepish (if not apish) about laughing at that…….
I had the chance to see Richie Havens in Atlanta at the Great Southeast Music Hall. He was a great performer and had much to say.
Miss Linda, I’m happy you made it home before the snow. Sad you’re still getting snow We drove through Wyoming a couple years ago in June. We had snow. A year later, we went through Wyoming in May.The snow was so bad, they closed I80 west of Cheyenne and we lost about 15 hours due to the snow. I’m not a big fan of driving across Wyoming.

If everything goes completely wrong, and Andy’s found fit to work, might be time to call a Specialist.

I guess Linda won’t see this now if she is going away again, but that Sanford and Son reference was HILARIOUS!
