after that statement about palin being smart…I have come to the conclusion that gaurdsgt is not a clueless idiot at all….he just says cluelessly idiotic things to get a rise out of people.keep that in mind the next time he posts, that as idiotic as whatever it says he MEANS it to be that way. The issue really wasn’t about WHAT she said, but WHY she said it. The question that was asked had to deal with foreign relations and according to Ms. Palin she was confident in her abilities to understand and negotiate the complexities of foreign affairs because of her state’s proximity to Russia. By that reasoning, anybody who can see another country (or state for that matter) from their home is qualified to rule!

Somebody maybe should’ve asked Ms. Palin whether she herself had actually been to the spot in Alaska where you can see Russia. Bet the answer is “nope.”

Then maybe they also should’ve asked her if she even knew the name or location of the place. Same bet.
